Magnolia Mound Plantation has recently agreed to begin offering FREE virtual field trips to Louisiana K-12 schools in the fall of 2008.

Magnolia Mound Plantation is located near the LSU campus in Baton Rouge.

The plantation home was built in 1791 and was originally the center of a 900-acre operation with frontage on the Mississippi River.
